Benefit Dew the Hoola Matte Liquid Bronzer
So the famous Benefit Hoola bronzer now comes with a liquid formula. I haven’t tried the original powder one because I have way too many powder bronzer already, but when the Benefit Dew the Hoola liquid bronzer released, it tempted me to take it home since I never use a liquid cheek product before! Luckily, Sephora at that time had a coupon code for the deluxe sample version, so why not?!
I can’t tell you about the packaging of Benefit Dew the Hoola liquid bronzer, but based on the photos it looks gorgeous! My deluxe sample (5ml/0.16 fl. oz) comes with a pump which is really nice, and a plain brown packaging.
Benefit Dew the Hoola liquid bronzer has a thick consistency when it comes out from the pump, it’s not runny or liquidy at all. However, it loosen the texture to a more gel-like cream when applying on the skin.
For me, Benefit Dew the Hoola liquid bronzer is very hard to blend and it’s better applied gradually to avoid mistakes. It sets really quick but it doesn’t stay on for long time throughout the day. I also mix this bronzer with my pale foundation and it makes my foundation slip off my face after a few hours.

The color of Benefit Dew the Hoola liquid bronzer seems to be warmer than the original powder formula (I’m not 100% sure since I only saw the OG through the photos). It’s a warm, light-medium brown with a matte finish. It can look orange-y sometimes too which is pretty bad for me. I don’t think this color is good for medium-dark skintone.
Overall, I’m not impressed with this bronzer and I will not purchase the fullsize. The only pro about Benefit Dew the Hoola liquid bronzer is it smells soooo good (like a fruity, sweet summer drink!!) and it gives a cooling sensation when applied.
